Fingal Libraries marks the donation of 100 Ukrainian language books for Children

Fingal County Council Libraries Department is delighted to receive a very special donation of 100 children’s books written in the Ukrainian language. The books, suitable for children aged from 0 to 15 years, will be available to borrow from any Fingal Library and it is hoped that they will provide much comfort and joy to Ukrainian Children and their families during their stay in Ireland.

Fingal Inclusion Week 2022 – #InviteIncludeInvolve

There is something for everyone in the fantastic programme planned for the fourth Fingal Inclusion Week with over 100 events taking place around the County. The week, which runs from November 14th to November 20th is an initiative of Fingal County Council Community Office in collaboration with Fingal Integration Officer and the Fingal Public Participation Network.

Fingal County Council congratulates Tidy Towns Groups on another successful year in 2022

As the Tidy Towns results were announced Fingal County Council took the opportunity to thank all the wonderful Tidy Towns Committees in Fingal and their volunteers for the fantastic work they do to enhance our towns & villages. It was another very successful year for Fingal with Gold, Silver and special award winners and increased points for all groups.

JAM Card© was created in 2012 by NOW Group participants, with learning difficulties and autism, who wanted a discreet way of communicating to others that they need ‘Just A Minute’ (JAM) of time / assistance in certain situations.
