Book Launch for Donabate Author Gerard Ronan

Gerard Ronan, the author of several books based on aspects of Fingal local history, particularly within the area of Portrane, has just published his two latest books supported by Fingal County Council and launched by Deputy Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. Cathal Boland.

ANCA has published aircraft noise exposure contour maps for 2021

The Aircraft Noise Competent Authority has published noise exposure contours for 2021 for the areas around Dublin Airport. An interactive map is available that facilitates the entry of an address or Eircode to examine the aircraft noise impact at a particular location down to the level of individual properties .

Open House Dublin expands into Fingal with an exciting line-up of events on 14-16th October

Expert-led tours of the innovative Fingal County Hall (designed by Bucholz McEvoy Architects with Building Design Partnership) and behind-the-scenes access to the conservation works at Swords Castle and Malahide Castle are among the highlights of this year’s Open House Dublin, the Irish Architecture Foundation’s flagship annual festival, which this year is expanding into Fingal for the first time.
