Fingal County Council Offices will close to the public for the Christmas period at 12.30pm on Friday December 24, 2021 and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday January 4, 2022. Please see details regarding opening times for Libraries, Recycling Centres and also Christmas Tree Collection Points.

Libraries
Fingal Library Branches will be closed from December 24, 2021 and will reopen on January 4, 2022.

Recycling Centres
The recycling centres Christmas opening times are as follows:-
24th December open ½ day, close at 1pm
25th December to 28th December (inclusive) closed
29th December to 30th December (inclusive) open as usual
31st December open ½ day, close at 1pm
1st January to 3rd January closed
They will be open as normal on Tuesday January 4th 2022.

Bottle and Textile Banks
Our Bottle and Textile Banks will be emptied as normal over the Christmas Period apart from 25th and 26th December and 1st and 2nd January. However we will be experiencing very high volume of usage in this period and we would appeal to the public not to leave bottles or textiles etc beside them if they are full. Leaving bottles or textiles beside a bank when they are full is an offence under the Litter Pollution Act and may result in a fine or prosecution. It can also cause a risk to the public and wildlife. Your assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.
Christmas Tree Collection Points
Fingal County Council will be accepting Christmas trees for recycling at the locations listed from the 4th to the 21st January 2022.
