Dublin Climate Action Week to take place from 12th to 18th May 2025
The week will feature regional and local events covering a range of topics and will showcase the ongoing efforts, ambitions and the collaborative approach of the four Dublin local authorities, in addressing climate action.

Dublin Climate Action Week 2025 (#DCAW25) will take place from Monday 12th to Sunday 18th May 2025.
The week, which is being organised and delivered by the partnership of Fingal County Council, Dublin City Council, South Dublin County Council, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, the Dublin Metropolitan Climate Action Regional Office (CARO) and Codema – Dublin’s Energy Agency, will feature regional and local events covering a range of topics and will showcase the ongoing efforts, ambitions and the collaborative approach of the four Dublin local authorities, in addressing climate action.
This year, Dublin Climate Action Week 2025 will coincide with National Bike Week, bringing together climate action and active travel to highlight the strong connection between sustainable transportation and climate solutions. Through workshops, interactive activities, demonstrations, family fun days and festivals participants will have the opportunity to learn how small everyday changes can contribute to a healthier environment.
The Mayors of Fingal County Council and South Dublin County Council, the Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and the Lord Mayor of Dublin City Council stated that, “We are delighted to launch Dublin Climate Action Week. This collaboration with Bike Week will present a fantastic range of events, encouraging all to participate in meaningful action towards a more sustainable future. We would encourage everyone to get involved and make the most of this important week”.
