Temporary Road Closures

Fingal would like to give notice that it has prepared Schemes for the provision of traffic calming measures at the following locations:
- Portrane Road, Donabate, Co Dublin. – 1 No. Raised Uncontrolled Crossing
- Gaelscoil Na Mara, Donabate, Co. Dublin. – 1 No. Flat Top Traffic Calming Ramp.
- Cianlea, Swords, Co. Dublin. – 2 No. Round Top Traffic Calming Ramps.
- Holywell, Swords, Co. Dublin. - 1 No. Bus Friendly Ramp with Zebra Crossing Road Markings.
- Flemington Lane Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. – 11 No. Round Top Traffic Calming Ramps.
It is proposed that various roads in the Garristown area will be closed for the purpose of holding a fundraising 5km and 10km run. This would be from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Sunday 6th April 2025. See advert 1 and map 1.
In order for repair works to take place around the R122 Weston Park in Oldtown it is proposed that the road will be closed from 24-25 March from 08:00 until 00:00. See advert 1 and map 1.

Fingal is proposing the Temporary Road Closure of Church Street, Howth from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm each day from 10-12 March. See 1st advert.
Fingal is proposing a Temporary Road Closure of Coolmine Road/Carpenterstown Road (at Coolmine Train Station), Dublin 15, for the purpose of resurfacing works at the level crossing on the road. The road will be closed as follows:
- 10pm on Saturday 01st March 2025 to 08am on Sunday 02nd March 2025
- 10pm on Saturday 08th March 2025 to 08am on Sunday 09th March 2025

The existing Bath Road Car Park is temporarily closed from 29 January 2025 until April 2025 as it undergoes a major upgrade. While these works are being carried out, there are 50 parking spaces available nearby at the new Overflow Car Park also located on Bath Road.
On site development works are expected to begin in the week commencing 12 August 2024 at Bremore Castle Car Park in Balbriggan. These works will take several months to complete.
Temporarily closure of Seatown Road from the Junction of St Columcille’s Drive/Seatown Road to the Junction of North Street/Seatown Road. This period will be 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026.
