As the Active Cities Dublin project looks to build momentum, there will be opportunities to get involved in various projects and campaigns that look to promote Fingal as an Active City over the coming months.

The Planning Authority has informed the daa that their application to raise the capacity of Dublin Airport to 36 million passengers per annum is invalid.

Fingal County Council is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of the Fingal Artists' Support Scheme. This funding stream offers professional artists the opportunity to apply for up to €5,000 to support travel and professional development opportunities, a residency, or towards the development of work.

From October 1, 2024 new regulations will ban the import, breeding, selling and rehoming of XL Bully dogs in Ireland.

Two new councillors were officially co-opted onto Fingal County Council this evening following the election of sitting councillors to Dáil Éireann in the recent General Election.

Fingal County Council Offices will close to the public for the Christmas period at 12.30pm on Tuesday December 24, 2024 and will reopen at 9am on Thursday January 2, 2025. The Payments Offices will be closed from 3.30pm on Monday 23rd.

Fingal County Council will be accepting Christmas Trees for recycling at the following Collection Points from January 2nd  to 16th, 2025.  Please note that only Christmas trees will be accepted at the above locations, other green waste, Christmas tree stands, etc. will not be accepted
