Fingal International Women's Day 2025 is a significant initiative led by Fingal County Council’s Community Development Department, designed to celebrate and raise awareness of this important global occasion.

This year, an extensive programme of over 62 events will take place across the county from March 3rd to March 10th, highlighting the achievements, contributions, and roles of women in our communities.

Celebrating Women in Sports (WIS) Videos

Women in Sport (WIS) week is taking place March 4th– 10th 2024. Fingal County Council celebrates every women and girl who plays, coaches, officiates, volunteers, works in and leads out on Women in Sport. Throughout the week Fingal will promote and highlight members of the community who are taking part in sports clubs and programmes across Fingal.
