The Aircraft Noise Competent Authority has published aircraft noise exposure maps for 2020 for the areas surrounding Dublin Airport

Midland Animal Care, who provide dog shelter services at Hollygrove Kennels in Newcastle, Co Dublin. Midland Animal Care was established in 2014 and employs 17 staff members.

More solar bins will be installed around the streets of Swords, Balbriggan, Castleknock and Mulhuddart after Fingal County Council confirmed it had ordered 150 of the compactable smart bins to help keep the towns litter free and drive down carbon emissions. 

Fingal County Council has been awarded €45,936 in funding by the Department of Rural and Community Development under the 2021 Town and Village Renewal Scheme.

The public consultation has now closed to submissions. In excess of 1,300 submissions were received via post, email and the online consultation portal.

Councillors have approved plans by Fingal County Council for a new recreational hub that will provide modern facilities for the community around Meakstown.

Fingal County Council will be marking International Women’s Day 2022 across all their digital platforms and in a series of in person events. Fingal County Council’s Community and Sports Office are hosting a range of initiatives across Fingal to celebrate women's achievements and increase visibility, while calling out gender inequality.

Fingal County Council will be celebrating the Irish Language and culture throughout the Seachtain na Gaeilge festival which runs from March 1-17 2022 including a live music event in County Hall on Wednesday March 9th.
