Tidy Towns

Huge congratulations to the fantastic volunteers who ensured that 2024 was another hugely successful year for Fingal in the National Tidy Towns Awards.

It has been another successful year for Fingal as the TidyTowns results were announced for 2023. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the competition and, with nearly 900 community groups involved, it attracted one of its highest level of entries to date.

As the Tidy Towns results were announced Fingal County Council took the opportunity to thank all the wonderful Tidy Towns Committees in Fingal and their volunteers for the fantastic work they do to enhance our towns & villages. It was another very successful year for Fingal with Gold, Silver and special award winners and increased points for all groups.

Fingal County Council is delighted to congratulate all TidyTowns committees on their continued success following the announcement of the results of this year’s awards. The SuperValu TidyTowns competition saw Ennis in Co Clare named as the overall winner from a total of 847 entries.  

There was great success for Swords Tidy Towns representing Fingal at the IPB Pride of Place Awards which were announced on Saturday evening
