Dublin projects wins at all-Ireland community awards. Bayside Community Association was honoured at the all-Ireland Pride of Place community awards on Monday evening, May 16th.The awards, hosted by RTE’s Marty Whelan, took place in Kerry’s INEC centre with 400 community volunteers in attendance.

Fingal has become the inaugural host for Ireland’s first ever pop-up swimming pool, with the Swim Ireland initiative bringing swimming to communities across the country.
The ‘Local Biodiversity Action Plan’ project was initiated by Fingal’s Biodiversity team in 2021. The project is a collaboration between the Biodiversity team, Fingal Operations, Ecological consultants and the many Tidy Towns groups across the County of Fingal.
Fingal County Council will be represented by three groups in the finals of the 2021 IPB Pride of Place competition taking place in the INEC in Killarney next week.
